What is having gratitude?
Is it just saying “Thank you” when we receive something?
Gratitude is so much more!
MAYA ANGELOU SAID:
“Let Gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel”
I say: “Gratitude is Love”.
It is seeing the best in everyone, everything and and every situation. Good or bad.
There is something to be grateful for.
Without gratitude, life is heavier and so is your heart. The sky is greyer.
Without gratitude, you are in a vicious circle of hardship, victimization, negativity. A vicious circle that takes you further from who you were put on this planet to be.
Every difficult situation has something to be grateful for. It may not be obvious in the moment, but with time, things become clearer and the positive always come out to shine, for you to be grateful for.
Trying to live a life of seeing the good in everything, no matter how difficult the situation can be, it will give you wings, give you fulfillment, freedom and your true you.
Be grateful everyday, for at least 3 things. Write them down.
Remind yourself of what was good. It is much easier to find the bad. So take the time to find the good. Let’s change our world, 1 gratitude per day, per person on this planet.
The more you do it, the more it will become natural to find the beauty in everything. Make it part of your routine. Make your daily life a better place, by seeing the beauty and positivity in your life.
Put a silver lining in your day! Be a wonder for yourself!
Put some colours in your daily canvas, even when the clouds are thick and grey!
Write it down:
Today I am thankful (grateful) for you. Yes you, readers, reading this article about being grateful. I’m grateful for you and your beautiful heart.
Thank you!
Thank you Life!
Be grateful for even a simple song.
Be grateful for the birds singing
Be grateful for the sun shinning
Be grateful for the snow flakes kissing your nose
REFLECTIONS:
What are you grateful (thankful) for?
WhatMs the last thing that made you smile?
What good came out of a bad situation?
What beautiful small moment made you smile today?
