Perspective... What is perspective. In a previous post we talked about how Time Heals all Things... Time gives Perspective. Perspective is a different way to see one problem, at a different time of our life. Perspective is gaining experience on a subject that we had less beforehand, therefore we are now able to have a broader range of notions in order to form an opinion on a subject.
When you take time to think on a problem and give yourself the space to gain more information about a subject, you immediately separate a situation from the emotions attached to it. You are then able to make a more enlightened decision on that said subject and gain perspective on the matter.
When you gain perspective on a subject, you see the other side of the medal... Someone else's point of view... You analyze it from different angles. You can gain compassion and kinder feelings towards the said subject.
Gaining perspective is never bad and usually beneficial in a decision making process.
What can you lose from perspective? Maybe time... but you gain a strongly positioned point of view. You are able to then make the best decision for yourself, based on your knowledge and personal boundaries and needs.
Gain your perspective.
