18. First Real Love

Finding you first Love... What a roller coaster! There are so many expectations that creep into your mind... The ones that come from the fairy tail movies from our youth, the ones from our idea of what the perfect partner should be and what comes later... The real kind of person you want... The real values that you'll want in a long term partner.

For most, First come all the little "loves" that come before this monumental moment. The ones that make you discover what you are really looking for.

Then comes the right one... When it hits you, all the emotions hit you at once. It puts you in a head spin, a surge of physical reactions and emotional turmoil. But OH!! How great that feeling feels.

It can be duplicated, but the first one is memorable.

I had several "loves" before my first love. Relationships... Boyfriends... Crushes... Interests... They are all important, they taught me about myself. What I like, what I dont like. What makes me happy and what I definately don't want in a long term relationship.

A first real love doesn't always mean a "Forever love".

Some people might take longer to find their first love... or their forever love. It's not a bad thing, on the contrary, it's also a way of being in a connection with someone, but the right one. Some people don't want to waste their time on the "wrong" one.

To each its own. Whatever makes you happy! As long as you follow your intuition about the person you embarking on and don't become someone you're not, to "fit the mold".

You are worth Love. Love is fulfilling and exciting with the right mindset.

You should always be your first love, before embarking on one with someone else.

You need to reconnect to you and love every part of you, before giving a part of your heart away. If you don't love yourself first, you put yourself in a danger that is unknown. Know your self worth and find the reason why you are so incredible to love. You will live a much more fulfilled life because of it.
